Legacy at 45th Street, West Palm Beach

February 2024

Officials and project partners lined up with ceremonial shovels at the Legacy at 45th Street groundbreaking

The Palm Beach County Housing Authority broke ground on a new affordable housing community Monday called Legacy at 45th Street. AGTLAND is proud to be part of the Hatcher Construction and Development team, the project's Design Builder.

"We're doing something outside the box. We're building 48 units, two and one bedrooms, made with shipping containers as the base. And we will be building them for families and individuals at 80% or below of the area's median income," said Carol Jones-Gilbert, CEO of the Palm Beach County Housing Authority.

The Palm Beach County Housing Authority is working with the SPECTRA Organization, Inc. to serve what they call "missing middle" families: those who earn too much for subsidized housing and too little to afford market-rate rentals.
